Itinerary features:

Chimei Museum: It features many collections of fine arts, including paintings, Sculpture, decorative arts and period furniture; musical instrument and armor.
Tainan Art Museum Building #2: Designed with a large, permeable roof over several levels of stacked galleries, supported by diagonal structural columns.
U.I.J. Hotel & Hostel: Located in west central district in Tainan. Feature air-Conditioned rooms, 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and free wifi.
Enjoy and discovery varieties of delicious Tainan street food.
FX Tainan Hotel: Located in west central district, 10-minute walk to Chihkan Tower and Koxinga Shrine. The hotel was inspired by classic yet modern design. A great location that you can explore historical city, the ambience and architecture.
Sicao Wetland: Also known as “Little Amazon River of Taiwan”, a mangrove forest extending over the water to form tunnel-like channel. Enjoy riding on slowly moving raft, sunshine glints through the trees, and natural scenery.

Day 1

Taipei Main Rail Station→Tainan High Speed Rail Station→Hotel


Please go to Taipei Rail Station and take High Speed Rail to Tainan (High Speed Train #805, departing 07:11am, arrival: 09:13am or other train schedule)

09:15    Meet at Tainan High Speed Rail Station

** Chimei Museum is a private museum established in 1992. The museum has wide collections: Fine arts (including painting, sculpture, decorative arts and period furniture); Musical instruments; Arms and Armor and Natural history. If museum capacity is full or closed, we will replace to Museum of History.

** Tainan City Immigration Center: Once was a restaurant and now an Immigration Center operated by Tainan City Government. A Baroque style design with garden at the front.

** Chihkan Tower: It was a Dutch outpost located in west central district in Tainan. Built in 1653 during the Dutch colonization of Taiwan. There are Haisheng Temple, Wengchang pavilion and Penghu College inside the Tower. You will also find famous stature of Koxinga accepting the surrender of the Dutch.

** Hayashi Department Store: The first department store opened in 1932. It was bombed at the end of World War II. After restoration and reopened in 2014, it features exhibitions on local farming culture and handcraft on the top floor. There is also western cafeterias and an observation deck.

** The Tainan Judicial Museum: Located in west central area in Tainan. The museum building was originally constructed as a courthouse in 1914 during Japanese rule of Taiwan. The original court building was designed by Japanese architect Matsunosuke Moriyama with Baroque architecture style. The building underwent major renovation in 2003, now open to the public.  The Museum exhibit the history of the building, law-rated writings.

** The Blueprint Cultural & Creative Park: Located in the old Judicial dormitory area, it is now a 3d blueprint nighttime art installation with bright lights throwing dazzling white lines on a bule wall and an old tree lit by a yellow light. A popular location for young people.

08:30-09:00 Meet at hotel lobby

** Tainan Art Museum Building #2

The museum was designed with pentagon shape of roof and spans over 2960m2.     The museum houses multipurpose theater children’s art center, artist exclusive gallery collection and research center. (Museum closed on Monday, if our tour day is on Monday or the day that museum is closed, we will replace to alternative attraction)

** Boat Tour on Sicao Wetland: Sicao are wetlands in Tainan, about 515 hectares. This protected area consists of mangrove swamps, salt marshes, rivers, canals, and drainage ditches. Riding on bamboo rafts, enjoy natural scenery in this historical city.

** Anping Fortress & Anping Old Street:

During the 17th century, when many European countries sailed to Asia to develop trading, Formosa (Taiwan’s former name) was one of the most important transit ports of East Asia. Fort Zeelandia was built by Dutch from 1624-1634. It became an international business center. After World War II. The fortress was renamed to Anping Fortress.

** Sio House: During Japanese colonial era, it served as the Anping office, Tainan Branch, Governor General of Taiwan Monopoly Bureau, an important location for the salt industry. After Retrocession, it was converted into a dormitory, providing lodging for the mangers of the salt industry. Now it is operated by local company and renamed to Sio House, a fantastic spot for sunset viewing.

** Please note that should the admission line is too long or falls on closure, we will replace to Taijiang National Park Visitor Center**

Day 3

Tainan Taipei


After breakfast, morning at leisure. If you wish to return to Taipei after breakfast, please inform us in advance your departure train schedule to Taipei.

If you wish to spend time in Tainan, there are following two optional tours:

Optional Tour A: Guanziling one day tour (include transportation and insurance, minimum: 4 people, NT Dollar: 1700 per person)

08:30    Depart for Biyun Temple, Fire & Water Spring, Guanziling Hot Spring, after lunch to mud hot spring (at your own expense), to Wushulin Sugar Factory. After the tour, to Tainan High Speed Rail Station.

Optional Tour B: Beimen Crystal Church, Jingzaijiao Salt Field one day tour (include transportation, lunch and insurance, minimum: 4 people, NT Dollar: 1700 per person)

08:30    After breakfast, depart for Beimen Crystal Church, continue to Jingzaijiao tile-paved salt field. After lunch to Yuguan Island for sunset viewing.         

18:00 Depart for Tainan High Speed Rail Station to Taipei (#678 departing 7:13pm, arrival  9:02pm or other train schedule). You can extend to our Thailand 5-day tour.

  • Upon registration, USD300 deposit per person is required. Once tour is confirmed, deposit is Non-Refundable. If you wish to cancel, your deposit can be transferred to our other tours.
  • If you purchase air ticket on your own, your arrival time to the first destination and your departure time from last destination must be the same as local group. If not the same, you must arrange your own transportation to meet group on the first day and to airport on the last day.
  • Tour fee is based on double occupancy (two people sharing one room).
  • This is not a group tour nor customized tour; you will join a local tour. Therefore, we are unable to guarantee the size of the vehicle or restriction of the number of the participation. If a smaller group, local agent will provide smaller size vehicle. Driver will guide the tour and arrange hotel and meal functions.
  • Tour is conducted in Mandarin.
  • Hotel’s room type and bed size will base on the confirmation of each hotel.
  • The time table of High-Speed Train and regular train is for your reference only, actual departure schedule will be informed with our confirmation notice.
  • Please wear casual clothing, if you are a vegetarian or need special meal Request, you must inform us in advance.
  • In order to maintain the quality of the tour for our respected clients, PETS are not allowed.
