◎ Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is the oldest shopping gallery in Italy. It is a two glass-vaulted arcade intersecting in an octagon covering the street connecting the Piazza del Duomo to Piazza della Scala.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Como District in Northern Italy. Lake Como nestled among mountains, renowned for its dramatic scenery, lush gardens, beautiful villages, making it one of the most visited tourist attractions.
★Lake Como Cruise, a scenic cruise on Lake Como, admire Bellagio, and beautiful lakeside villas.

Italy's water city—Venice, is the setting of Shakespeare's play "The Merchant of Venice." Its most distinctive feature is the absence of cars and the noise they bring, all modes of transport float on the water. Taking a vaporetto to St. Mark's Square, known as the "Salon of Europe," you'll be captivated by the intricate blend of classical, Roman, Gothic, and Byzantine styles of St. Mark's Basilica! Next, visit the Bridge of Sighs, where it's said that lovers who kiss beneath it will enjoy eternal love. This legend comes from the 1979 film "A Little Romance," which was filmed here, featuring the main characters kissing under the bridge! Afternoon, depart for Parma.

Pisa was once a powerful and wealthy ruler of the western Mediterranean.

This morning, depart for Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, also known as “Firenze” . Upon arrival, city tour will follow:

After breakfast, depart for Siena, located in the central part of Tuscany. The Republic of Siena, established in the 12th century, was an influential city-state during the medieval and Renaissance periods. city tour will follow:

◎Torre del Mangia, built in 1338 – 1348 at 102 m, one of the tallest towers in Medieval Italy

Continu to Assis, located in Perugia. It is the birthplace of St. Francis. Assis is rich in religious significance, which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2000.

After breakfast, depart for Rome, we will tour the following sites:
★The Roman Forum
◎ The Colosseum, completed in AD 80, the largest amphitheater in the world. During the Roman empire, it was used to show exotic animals, the prisoners fought off wild beasts, and the gladiator’s fierce combat.
◎ Climb 138 steps between Spanish Square, surrounded by historical buildings, colorful flowers

Day 10
Rome-Vatican City

<Itinerary>
The highlight of today’s itinerary is to the Vatican City, the world’s smallest sovereign state. We will visit ★St. Peter’s Basilica was initially planned in the 15th century by Pope Nicholas V. It was reconstructed from 1506 and completed in 1626. The Basilica was designed principally by Donato Bramante, Michelangelo and Gian Lorenzo Bernini. It is one of the most renowned works of Italian Renaissance architectures, lavishly decorated with marble, reliefs, sculpture and gilding. The burial site of Saint Peter is directly below the high altar of the basilica.
◎ The St Peter’s Square is a large oval shaped square, surrounded by 284 Doric colonnades. At the center of the square stands 25.3 meter high--the Vatican Obelisk, an ancient Egyptian obelisk. Emperor Caligula had it shipped to Rome in 40 AD. Now is the landmark of the Vatican.
★Vatican Museum has 24 rooms, contain about 70,000 works, of which 20,000 are on display.
The Sistine Chapel houses two of the world’s most famous works of art—Michelangelo’s celling frescoes and his Last Judgment.
Later today, explore Rome on the following sites:
◎Trevi Fountain
◎The Pantheon was built during the reign of Ausustus (27BC – AD 14). After the original burn down, the Emperor Hadrian ordered to rebuild. The building is round in plan, except for the portico with large granite Corinthian columns under a pediment. The circular dome was unique in Roman architecture. The Pantheon is one of the best-reserved of all Ancient Roman buildings.

Day 11
Rome-220km-Napoli- 30km-Pompei

<Itinerary>
After breakfast, depart for Napoli, then take Speed boat to Capri, then take small rowboat to Blue Grotto.
★Blue Grotto; you will experience the unearthly blue of its refracted light gleaming on the white sand bottom. Notes: If the weather is not permitting and Blue Grotto tour cancelled, tour fare is not refundable, we will arrange an alternative tour. Tour Leader will coordinate the most suitable itinerary based on tour members’ voting result.
Option 1: Take the local bus to Blue Grotto final bus stop, take the stairs down to the seaside where there is the queue to the rowboats.
Option 2: Boat Tour around the Capri Island excluding Blur Grotto
Option 3: To Villa San Michele, located at the top of the Phoenician Steps. The villa has panoramic views of the town of Capri.
Option 4: If the boat tour to Capri Island is not operating due to strong wind and/or high tide, we will replace to visit Royal Palace of Naples and city tour.

Pompei-30km-Sorrento-17km-Amalfi Coast (Positano) –30km– Pompei

<Itinerary>
After breakfast, depart for the Amalfi coast, ◎a scenic drive along the winding road of the Amalfi coast with the amazing view of cliff-side villages. Then take★ minibus to Positano, the jewel of the Amalfi Coast with colorful buildings perched on cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean.

Pompei-231km-Tivoli –50km– Rome

<Itinerary>
★Pompeii-famous for its ruins when Mt. Vesuvius erupted in A.D. 79. Explore many well-preserved fossils and ruins lay beneath volcanic ash for centuries and for better understanding of ancient Roman life.
Continue to Tivoli, located in central Italy. We will visit ★Villa d’Este, a 16th century villa, famous for its terraced hillside Italian Renaissance Garden and its profusion of fountains. Most of the fountains are decorated with mosaics of mythological scenes. The interior of the villa is also decorated with murals and reliefs.

59 days to 30 days prior to departure: 50% of total tour fare
29 days to 15 days prior to departure: 75% of total tour fare
14 days to 7 days prior to departure: 80% of total tour fare
7 days or less prior to departure and/or cancelled during the touring period: 100% of cost
