Upon arrival at Sydney, city tour will follow: to fish market for brief stop. Continue to Royal Botanic Gardens, Mrs. Macquirie’s Chair, Hyde Park and cathedral, then to ★ Opera House.  Enjoy tonight’s buffet dinner at Sydney Tower Restaurant for breathtaking view.

Sydney~109km~Blue Mountains N.P.~93km~Featherdale Wildlife Park

After breakfast, transfer to ★Blue Mountains National Park to see canyon, Three Sisters rock formation. We will take cable car down to the valley, then come back up to the mountains. Continue to

★Featherdale Wildlife Park to see kangaroos, koalas, and EMU.  Tonight, enjoy ★ dinner on Sydney Harbor Cruise with extraordinary city view.

Day 5

Sydney / Melbourne -131km-Ballarat

<Itinerary>

After breakfast, we will ★fly to Melbourne. Upon arrival, continue to Ballarat–one of the most significant Victorian era boomtowns in Australia. Gold rush transformed Ballarat to a major settlement. With guided tour, you will see how gold is made at ★Sovereign Hill.

Day 6

Ballarat-158km-Great Ocean Road~The 12 Apostles-208km-Melbourne

<Itinerary>

After breakfast, depart for Melbourne via Great Ocean Road with spectacular coastline scenery, such as the 12 Apostles, Loch Arc Gorge and London Bridge. The 12 Apostles is a collection of limestone stand along the shore of Port Campbell. It was formed by erosion and gradually became arches.  Arrive Melbourne late afternoon.

Day 7

Melbourne-47km-Puffing Billing Steam Train-115km-Phillip Island

<Itinerary>

After breakfast, brief Melbourne city tour including Federation Square, The Royal Botanic Garden & St. Patrick’s Cathedral, then take a ride the 100-year-old ★Puffing Billy steam train and return to the glorious era of steam trains in the early 20th century.  Later, continue to ★Phillip Island, we will tour Visitor Center to learn about penguins, then to Summerland Beach to watch little penguins on parade (they arrive and waddle across the beach to their sand dune burrows at sunset). After dinner, return to Melbourne.

Day 8

Melbourne/Queenstown, New Zealand

<Itinerary>

After breakfast, transfer to airport for ★flight to Queenstown, a resort town in Otago. It is built around an inlet called Queenstown Bay on Lake Wakatipu. Queenstown is surrounded by mountains such as the Remarkables, Cecil Peak, Walter Peak, Ben Lomond and Queenstown Hill.  Upon arrival, we will take ★skyline gondola to the top, enjoy spectacular view with buffet dinner.

Day 9

Queenstown-Fiordland National Park-287km-Milford Sound-Queenstown    

<Itinerary>

Today we will travel to Fiordland National Park, the largest of the 14 national parks in New Zealand.  Explore famous Milford Sound, located in the southwest of South Island. Milford Sound is a deep, icy blue waterway running 15km inland from Tasman Sea and is part of the majestic Fiordland National Park. We will take ★Milford Sound Scenic Cruise and enjoy beautiful waterfalls and glaciers (if weather not permitting, we will arrange Manapouri tour).  Later, return to Queenstown.

Day 10

Queenstown-60km-Cromwell-313km-Lake Matheson-29km-Franz Josef

After breakfast, we will travel to Cromwell, continue to Lake Matheson, famous for its reflected views of Mount Cook and Mount Tasman. Then travel through Hass Pass and Lake Wanaka with amazing scenery.

Franz Josef Glacier-256km-Arthur Pass-Christchurch

After breakfast, we will tour Franz Josef Glacier and enjoy unforgettable glacier experience (If weather not permitting, trail hiking will be cancelled). Afternoon, depart for Arthur’s Pass National Park by ★Tranz Alpine train with spectacular scenery.

After breakfast, transfer to airport for ★flight to Rotoura. Upon arrival, sightseeing tour will follow: ★Agrodome Sheep Show. Continue to ★Te Puia, a Maori culture village for a unique experience of their architecture and cultural performance.  Optional tour at your own expense: Relax in Polynesian style hot spring treatment (please bring swim ware, cap & slipper, cost about New Zealand Dollar 30-50).

<Itinerary>

This morning depart for Auckland, upon arrival, to Mount Eden for panoramic view of the city. Continue to ★Kelly Tarlton’s Sea Life Aquarium with more than 80 different species in spectacular habitat displays, including world’s largest Antarctic penguin colony exhibit and amazing underwater viewing tunnels. Afternoon, transfer to airport and return to your sweet home!

Upon arrival, city tour will follow: to City Hall and King George Square, this is the city’s most significant historical landmark. Continue to Mt. Coot-tha, about 7 miles west from Brisbane city center. It is Brisbane’s tallest mountain with great view.  Shortly after, to hotel and check-in.  Later, you can take a walk on the beach or explore harbor town.

PT Day 4

Brisbane/Cairns~Aboriginal Cultural Park~Skyrail~Kuranda

This morning, travel by air to Cairnes. Upon arrival, to Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. You will experience traditional Tjapukai culture with authentic music and dance. Continue to Rainforest by Skyrail Cableway. This rainforest spans 7.5kms over Australia’s tropical rainforests.  Then to Kuranda Village, located 25km northwest from Cairns.  Because of its lush beauty attracts many artists to live here. To Market, where you will find many fine local arts and crafts, jewelry, fabrics, leather and produce.

PT Day 5

Cairns~The Great Barrier Reef

<Itinerary>

This morning, depart for the Great Barrier Reef, the largest tropical coral reef in the world; it stretches 2,300 km long along Queensland’s coast.  You can either relax on cruise sundeck, or at your own expense, participating  ” scuba diving” and dive in the most beautiful coral gardens and amazing marine life. Or enjoy spectacular scenery from above by flying helicopter, or you can walk underwater on a reef platform, make you feel like walking among reef fish and coral ( this tour is about $155 per person, please bring swim ware).
