◎Jericho: From Book of Joshua, the wall of Jericho fell after the Israelites marched around the city. It is also said that Jesus of Nazareth passed through Jericho where he healed blind beggars, and inspired a local chief tax-collector to repent of his dishonest practices.

★Church of Beatitudes: Built between 1936 and 1938. It is octagonal, the eight sides represent the eight Beatitudes (eight blessings recounted by Jesus)
★Church of Multiplications of the Loaves and Fish: A Roman Catholic church on the northwest shore of Sea of Galilee. The mosaic in front of the altar depicts two fish flaking a basket containing four loaves of bread 
★Capernaum: A fishing market and the home of the first disciples Jesus called—the fishermen Peter, Andrew, James and John, and the tax collector Matthew
★Church of Annunciation: The location angel Gabriel appeared to Virgin Mary and announced that she would conceive and bear the Son of God, Jesus. It is most sacred place in the Christian world

◎King David’s Tomb: the burial place of David, King of Israel
★Israel Museum: One of the unique collections is the Dead Sea Scrolls, an ancient Jewish religious manuscript
★The World Holocaust Remembrance Center: Established in 1953, the official memorial to the victims of the Holocaust.
