The Romantic Road is a theme route created by travel agents in the 1950s. It describes the 460 km of surface roads between Wurzburg and Fussen in the southern Germany. Linking many picturesque towns and castles

The German Fairy Tale Route is established in 1975. With a length of 600 km, the route runs from Hanau in central Germany to Bremen in the north. It mainly focused around the brothers Wilhelm and Jocob Grimm, including locations where they lived and worked and regions which are linked to the fairy tales found in the Grimm collections

After breakfast, to ★Neuschwanstein Castle, one of the most beautiful castles in Germany. Situated among dense forest, you will be amazed by this grandiose fairy-tale castle. ★We will travel uphill by bus and walk down hill (or by horse-drawn carriage at your own expense).
★Wies Church, located in the foothills of the Alps. It is an oval Rococo church, designed in the late 1740s by Brothers J.B and Dominikus Zimmermann
★St Mang’s Abbey is located in Fussen, it was a Benedictine monastery, founded in the 9th century as a Proprietary monastery of the Prince-Bishops of Augsburg
◎Fussen Gap is where the Lech River flow from the Ammergau Alps
◎Landsberg is a town in southwest Bavaria, Germany. It is situated on the Romantic Road and is the center of the Lechrain region. It is noted for its picturesque historic center

After breakfast, to Augsburg, located in Bavaria, around 50 km west of Munich. City tour will follow: The Town Hall, Bell Tower, St. Anne’s Church and Augsburg Cathedral. Continue to Nordlingen, located near Augsburg. The city lies within the Ries Basin, a 25 km crater caused when a meteorite struck the earth 15 million years ago at the speed of 70,000 km/h, and left the area riddled with an estimated 72,000 tons of micro-diamonds. Nordlingen is surrounded by a wall, built in the 14th century, which follows the rim of the crater. Then to our next destination: Nuremburg, the second-largest city of Germany. Nuremburg, the second largest city of Bavaria. The city has reflected German history, many Germain kings and emperors stayed at the Nuremburg Castle. The city is also known for its glorious medieval architecture, architecture, German history museum, and famous Christmas market. St. Sebaldus Church is a medieval church built in 1215. It was built as a Romanesque style, in the middle of 17th century, the interior was remodeled in the Baroque fashion. It is the oldest church of Nuremberg. Nuremberg Castle is a group of medieval fortified buildings on a sandstone ridge in the historical center.
The castle is considered to be one of the Europe’s most formidable medieval fortifications.

After breakfast, to Rothenburg, a well-preserved medieval town and part of the Romantic Road. It is one of the three towns in Germany that still have completely intact city walls. Wurzburg is a city in the region of Franconia. A historical city with its fine art, architecture and delicate Wines. Wurzburg is one of the prettiest towns on the Romantic Road. Alsfeld is located in the center of Hesse in Germany. It is well known for its well-preserved old town with hundreds of timber framing houses and part of the German Timber-Frame Road in 1961. The Town Hall and most of the buildings nearby were all constructed in medieval, Rahmbau style timber framing between 1512 and 1516. Kassel is the largest city in Hesse in the south-western part of Germany. It is well-known by the timeless classics of children’s books authors, the Brothers Grimm. Another feature is Documenta, an international exhibition of modern and contemporary art, has been held regularly in Kassel. Wilhelmshöhe Park located on a steeply sloping hillside, about 560 hectares in size. The park includes Wilhelmshöhe Palace, the Hercules monument, and the Lions Castle. The Hercules monument is located in the west end of the park. A huge octagonal stone structure, about 530 meters above Kassel, built between 1701 and 1717. The Lion Castle is a replica of a medieval castle, built during the reign of Wilhelm IX between 1793 and 1801.

After breakfast, to Hann Münden located in Lower Saxony. It lies in the district of Göttingen at the Confluence of Fulda and Werra rivers, which join to form the Weser. Goslar is a medieval town in Lower Saxony, it lies at the foot of the Harz Mountains. The town is Well-known for the medieval Imperial Palace, Romanesque churches, half-timbered guild houses, and its witches. Goslar is designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sababurg is located in the heart of the Reinhardswald in the village of Sababurg in the east-northeast Of the Hofgeismar of Beberbeck. The magnificent rose garden and Sababurg Castle were believed to have once served as the model for the Grimm fairy tale of “Sleeping Beauty”

After breakfast, to Leipzig, located about 160 km southwest of Berlin. It was a major city while it was still belong to East Germany. Leipzig became a hub of Central European railway, and the largest Terminal station in Europe. The historic center features Renaissance and Baroque style buildings. Leipzig was referred as “Little Paris” in the 18th century when it became a center of a classical literary movement largely led by the German scholar and writer Johann Christoph Gothe St Thomas Church, a Lutheran Church, Martin Luther preached in the chapel of Pleissenburg Castle and gave a ceremonial speech in St. Thomas Church. German composer Johann Sebastian Bach worked as a cantor in St. Thomas Church from 1723 until his death in 1750. His remains are buried under a bronze epitaph near the altar. Berlin, the capital and the largest city in Germany. A vibrant city full of historical landmarks with diverse cultural scenes. The city is particularly rich in museums, picturesque parks. After breakfast, to Potsdam, the residence of the Prussian King until 1918. Potsdam is widely known for its palaces, lakes, and historical landmarks. Upon arrival, city tour will follow:
★Sanssouci Palace and garden, a former summer palace of Federich the Great, King of Prussian in Potsdam. Sanssouci Palace is characterized as Rococo style. It is said that Frech Philosopher and writer Voltaire stayed at one of the guest rooms.
★Cecilienhof Palace was the location of the Potsdam Declaration was signed by Harry Truman, Winston Churchill and Joseph Stalin

After breakfast, depart for Lübeck, it has been the capital of Hanseatic League in the past. The St Mary Church is a medieval basilica in the city center of Lübeck. Built between 1250 and 1350. Because of its architectural importance, St Mary’s church was designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Holsten Gate is a city gate, built in 1464. The Brick Gothic construction is one of the relics of the Lübeck’s medieval city of fortifications and one of the two remaining city gates. The Holsten Gate is regarded as a symbol of the city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Later continue to Hamburg, upon arrival, walk along the river Alster, then to Town Hall and St. Michael’s Church, its 132-meter-high Baroque spire is a prominent feature of Hamburg’s skyline. St. Michael’s Church is a landmark of the city and it is considered to be one of the finest Hanseatic Protestant baroque churches

The “Town Musicians of Bremen” is a German fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm and published in Grimms’ Fairy Tales in 1819.Hannover is the capital of Lower Saxony in Germany. The World Expo 2000 & CeBIT were taken place in Hannover.

The legend dates back to the Middle Ages, describing a piper, dressed in multicolored clothing, who was a rat catcher hired by the town to lure rats away with his magic pipe. When the citizens refuse to pay for his service as promised, he retaliated by using his instrument’s magical power on their children, leading them away as he had the rats. Hameln is a beautifully restored historical town, dotted with cafés, beer gardens and little shops. The cobbles in Hameln are painted with these little animals, who point the way to the main attractions in the town.

After breakfast, depart for Eisenach, located 93 miles northeast of Frankfurt. During 1180’s, the town Was established by the construction of three independent market settlements around the Saturday’s market, the Wednesday’s market and the Monday’s market.  In the late 12th century, the Wartburg Castle Became the main residence of the Ludowingians. Hanau is located 25 km east of Frankfurt am Main, also within a semicircle of the river Kinziq which flows into the river Main.  The German Fairy Tale Route is originally established in 1975. With a length of 600 km, the route runs from Hanau to Bremen.  The German Limes Route, The German Timber-Frame Road and the Hessian Apple Wine & Orchard Route are all part of the route passing Hanau.

119 days to 60 days prior to departure: US$200 per person
59 days to 30 days prior to departure: 35% of total tour fare
29 days to 15 days prior to departure: 50% of total tour fare
14 days to 3 days prior to departure: 80% of total tour fare
2 days or less prior to departure and/or cancelled during the touring period: 100% of cost

For any train tickets, ferry tickets and admission reserved, if you cancel, we will check with local suppliers for cancellation penalty
For Airline tickets that is purchased and issued, if you cancel, airfare is Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable, we will check with airline for cancellation penalty
Hotel Twin Room Cancellation Policy: If your roommate cancelled, the share with party will occupy a single room, the cancelled party is responsible for single supplement incurred
