  Golden Ring of Russia: 

Golden Ring includes seven historic Russian cities, located northeast of Moscow. Segiyv Posad, Vladimir & Suzdal are the most visited destinations among Golden Ring. These ancient towns also played an important role of Russian Orthodox Church and significant events in Russian history. 

Segiyev Posad:  Trinity Monastery of St. Sergius is the spiritual center of the Russian Orthodox churches. The Monastery was built in the 1420’s with gleaming white exterior topped with gold domes. Segiyev Posad Is also famous for Nesting Dolls.

 Suzdal: It was once the capital of several Russian principalities. The city retains a rustic old Russian atmosphere with much early Russian architecture.

 Vladimir: was founded in 1108 by Vladimir Monomakh.  You can still find many buildings remain medieval architecture structure. Two most famous sites are: Cathedral of St. Demetrius & Cathedral of the Assumption. Vladimir is also an industrious town of textile, electronic

Day 1

USA / Warsaw, Poland

Today, we will take overnight flight to Warsaw—the capital of Poland, arrive the next day.

Day 3

<Itinerary>

After breakfast, city tour will follow: to Old Town (UNESCO World Heritage Site) that was destroyed by WWII, they restored it to a lively city. Continue to Warsaw Mermaid, Holly Cross Church and ★Marie-Curie’s birthplace, where she did her first scientific works. Then to Mikolajki, a popular holiday and water sports destination.  We will overnight in Mikolajki.

Day 4

Mikolajki-299km-Trakai-30km-Vilnius, Lithuania

<Itinerary>

This morning, depart for Trakai, we will visit ★Trakai Castle, erected on a small island, also known as the world’s leading water ski training center. Continue to Vilnius, we will visit old town, Gediminas Square, Cathedral & St. Anne’s church, a very small & beautiful church that legend said  during his conquests Napoleon came and saw this church and he would like to put it on his palm and bring to France.

Day 5

Vilnius-212km-Hill of Crosses -132km-Riga, Latvia

<Itinerary>

After breakfast, we will visit Hill of Crosses located in the northern Lithuania, a pilgrimage site. Continue To Riga–the capital of Latvia. City tour will follow: walk around Old Town Square, Swedish Gate and ★Riga Cathedral, built in 1226. The 6768-pipe organ inside the cathedral is spectacular.  Later, to ★St. Peter’s Church for panoramic city view.

Riga-310km-Tallinn, Estonia

Today, depart for Tallinn–the capital of Estonia, located in the northern part of the Baltic States. We will visit ◎Town Hall Square, a gathering place for festivals, dance & theatrical performances. Then to ◎St. Catherine’s Passage, and ◎Olympic Village designated for Moscow Olympic water games in 1980. We will also visit ★Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, an orthodox cathedral with spectacular architect design, located in Toompea Hill. Then to ◎Houses of Three-Sisters built in 1362, now renovated to a hotel.

After breakfast, city tour will follow:  to ★Toompea Castle, City Hall, Kadriorg Palace and Park. Continue to Central Square, Textile Museum, Town Hall tower & ★Toomkirik (Cathedral of St.Mary). Later, Depart for St. Petersburg.

This morning, city tour will follow: visit ★St. Isaac’s Cathedral, ★St. Peter and St. Paul's Cathedral, the statue of Peter the Great, the monument of Alexander III. And ★Church on spilled blood. Continue to one of the world's major museums–★Hermitage Museum (Winter Palace). They have over 2.8 million items on display, including masterpieces by Leonardo, Rembrandt, Picasso, Chagall and others.  Later to Nicholas Palace for dinner and enjoy ★Russian folk dance show.

Day 9

St. Petersburg  

<Itinerary>

After breakfast, to ★Petershof Palace–It was established by Peter the Great to protect the capital from Swedish counter attack. The Palace consists of 20 large and small palaces, 7 Imperial Gardens, 64 Fountains. After lunch, continue to ★Katherine Palace, constructed as a summer palace with distinctively decorated rooms and lavish exterior. The most famous room is Amber Hall, decorated with amber panels backed with gold leaf and mirrors. Tonight, a special arrangement of ★ cruise excursion to enjoy beautiful scenery along the river Neva.

Day 10

St. Petersburg / Moscow   

<Itinerary>

After breakfast, we will travel by express train to Moscow. Upon arrival, city tour will follow: To ★Kremlin, Tsar’s Bell Tower. Afternoon, to Red Square, ★St. Basil’s Cathedral, Kremlin Tower, Lenin's Tomb, and Russia's largest department store GUM.  Tonight, ★enjoy dinner with spectacular view while you cruising on Moscow River.

<Itinerary>

After breakfast, city tour will follow:  Victory Monument, Triumphal Arch, Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Continue to Arbat street, a busy street full of restaurants, shops, and street performances.  We will also tour ★Moscow Metro (opened in 1935). It is the most amazing station decorated with granite, marble, bronze and statues.  Later, to Moscow University, located on the Sparrow Hills, where you can enjoy panoramic view of the city.

Day 12

Moscow-186km-Vladimir-34km-Suzdal  

<Itinerary>

After breakfast, we will start excursion to The Golden Ring. Our first stop is Vladimir; we will visit ★ St. Demetrius Cathedral, The exterior walls are covered with elaborate carvings. Then to Golden Gate, then to Assumption Cathedral. Next stop is Suzdal, an ancient town with numerous monasteries and churches. We will visit ★Open Air Museum of Wooden Architecture and Peasant’s life.

Day 13

Suzdal-188km-Segiyev Posad-79km-Moscow   

<Itinerary>

This morning, depart for Segiev Posad; we will visit ★Trinity Monastery of St. Sergius, a pilgrimage for Russian Orthodox with impressive collections of ancient Russian paintings, handcrafts and precious metals. Return to Moscow late afternoon, we will drive to ◎Moscow State University located on Lenin Hill for panoramic views of the city.
